# Quickstart

Hyperyield was designed to be extremely easy to use. Getting up and running takes only a few steps.

# Create your first position

1. First, you need an account. Click the login button to create an account or log in to an existing one.
   • Please note: if you log in with your wallet, you will still be provisioned a Hyperyield managed wallet. You cannot use your own wallet with Hyperyield.
2. Next, you will need to deposit some funds to your Hyperyield wallet. Click the deposit button and follow the steps.
   • You must deposit either HYPE or WHYPE to your Hyperyield wallet! If you deposit something else, it may not be used in your position.
   • The deposit modal suggests an amount of 10 HYPE. This is not a requirement, you can deposit however much you want.
3. Once your deposit is received, browse the available pools and select the pool you want to enter.
4. You have the ability to adjust the price width for the position you want to enter.
   • The price width is defined as a percent difference away from the current mid-price of the pool. For example, if the price of the WHYPE/USD₮0 pool is $50, and you choose a 1% price spread, that means your position range will be roughly $49.50 - $50.50.
5. Click Create position... and that's it! You are now earning yield from the pool.
